My mom and Brandi came to visit us for Tess's birthday and to visit the awesome city of Savannah. The pictures are jumbled, and it takes way too long to switch them, so enjoy them out of order.
We toured this beautiful home that was built in the 1700s. Brandi is a total design junky and could tell us all about the architecture, and styles of the home. It was actually pretty fun even though we gave her crap for being annoying!
My little pirates! We went to the absolutely coolest restaurant called the Pirate House. It was built in the early 1700s and was actually a pirate house. Wierd. It is apparently very haunted, especially where we were sitting. Our waitress showed us a picture of the room and an orb....Ha ha. I don't believe it but was still a little freaked out. It was uber expensive, but well worth it. Later we had a pirate take us on a tour which Lexi was terrified of, so funny!
Down by the riverwalk
We took a boat tour around the town and had a really good time. It was a little chilly, but it was worth it. We had hot dogs and soda and entertained the guests with our crazy, loud kids, and my dancing when I thought no one was watching!
Tess loving the birds
We stayed at an awesome hotel in downtown. Thanks mom you really know how to spoil us.
We took a carriage ride around town and learned all about the history of the town and saw the beautiful houses. Ohhh if only I could go back in time and live. Big dresses and hats any day for me. We should bring them back in style. Any takers??
I was so grateful to have my family there to support little Tess on her birthday. It's always so much fun to have our family visit us and see how beautiful it is here and why we aren't moving. I'm working on everyone to get them to move the the best place ever...!
