We decided to take a trip to New York City for the day. It was a very long day. We left at 5 a.m. and got back at 11:30, but it was SO worth it. It has always been one of my dreams to go there. We arrived at the airport and took the subway (which was so confusing) to Times Square area. When we walked up. We were both speechless. We've never seen anything like it. We grabbed a hot dog from one of the booths (jesse really wanted to) and walked around central park which was so much bigger and prettier than I was expecting. Then we walked to times square, rockefeller center, empire state building and finally ground zero. My legs and feet were killing me. I wanted to cry, but we only had a 6 hours to tour New York, so we kept going. We didn't have time to tour anything super in depth, but it was amazing just being there. We didn't get a chance to see the statue of liberty, which was a bummer, but we will make another trip there someday, just to see that.

How fun! Now that Jesse is a pilot you guys could be taking random day trips for the rest of your life! Can't wait to see you in a couple days... Kelly's birthday!
