Summer Fun

Jesse and I went for our 4th anniversary to St. Lucia for 5 days. The 5th day we spent in a hotel doing nothing because we ran out of money. Oh the life of flying standby. It is amazing until you don't make a flight, and you want to see your little girl SO bad. This was my first time away from Lexi, ever, and it was much needed but also very hard. She did amazing with her Grandma Beth (THANK YOU SO MUCH) and had a good time. We were able to web cam with them everyday. It was so nice to be alone and enjoy relaxing in the Carribean. If you can't be romantic there, where can you be? We went to a few waterfalls and went snorkeling in super clear water. It was so much fun. There is no one else in this world that I'd rather be with. I am so lucky to be married to my best friend.
Jesse jumping off of a really big cliff. They said it was 90 feet, but we're pretty sure they are wrong. Either way, it was really big. I'm glad I had the pregnancy excuse!

Jesse of course had to do flippy's off of the dock. He had a bunch of locals joining him and trying to learn all of his tricks. I could barely understand them, but they seemed to understand eachother some how. He makes friends so easy. They called him springy!

Yep, we had a purplish rent a car. AND... we, I mean, Jesse had to drive on the wrong side of the road, on the wrong side of the car. What a trip. He did amazing except for the one time we were on the wrong side of the road. Oops!

Showing off our stuff at sulphur springs. This place smelled like butt and was actually rather nasty, but you've got to experience being in a crater of a volcano, in really warm water, covered in mud right?!

My big old belly and compression socks. It's pretty hard to pack for the tropics when you have to wear compression socks and you can't do a lot of walking, but we managed just fine.

Smiling at Diamond Falls.

The view from our hotel. Well, sort of hotel. It was pretty cheap, had 5 rooms, but surprisingly big and had a great view and was right on the beach. Who needs those 5 star resorts anyways, right!

Historic Banning Mills, Georgia

We saw this place advertised on some girls shirt and thought we should check it out. It ended up being awesome. $15 dollars a night and they have mini golf, fishing, swimming pools, paddle boats and it was beautiful. We had so much fun and can't wait to take all our friends with us next time.

Lexi loves her babies and loves to give kisses too. She will be such a great big sister.

Jesse and his big bass...

She loved fishing with Dad. She got so excited everytime he caught one. She calls them "ish"

Your stomach is not even showing, and I'm not just being nice. You know I'm not like that. I'm only 9 weeks and it is OUT there no joke. Humph. Glad you guys had such a fun vacay and I need to know more about these compression socks.... And how you manage to still make them look hot.

St. Lucia is gorgeous, huh? Sorry you got rained on, but tropics don't come about without a little water! :)

What the?! What an amazing getaway with your hubby! That place looks AMAZING! How lucky you had a webcam too - being away from Lexe for so long couldn't be easy. I love the fishing pics too. Lexe sure gets to do some dang fun things!
