Introducing Tess Jenna Allen. Born 11-07-11 at 3:16 p.m. She weighed 6 lb. 15 oz. 19.25 inches long. I am so happy to say that we are both healthy and happy. After Lexi's scary delivery we were extremely nervous for this one. But with amazing dr's and our Heavenly Father watching over us, everything went perfect. Labor from start to finish was 5 hours long. Pushing took maybe 10 minutes, with no vomit! It is a miracle to go from almost bleeding to death, to a perfect delivery. Tess has been an angel from the second she arrived. She rarely cries and sleeps pretty good for a newborn. Lexi loves her little sister and tries to help a lot. We have been so lucky to have my mom staying with us to help out around the house and with Lexi which has made my life so much easier.
These things are HORRIBLE. I am O+ and Jesse is A+ and for some reason it does something to the girls blood which causes jaundice. Lexi had this too, but didn't have to go under the light. It is awful to not be able to hold your new baby and to have these terrible glasses on them when they should just be cuddled. But... if that is the worst experience of all, I guess that's not much to complain about.
Hanging out at home... I can't believe I almost have a 2 year old. It goes so fast.
Tess makes the cutest faces. Most of the time they are pouty, grumpy faces which is odd because she is the most easy going baby ever!

Woohoo! I'm so glad you had a good experience, it really makes all the difference. She is gorgeous and so is Lexi. My girls are 22 mos. apart too and it's the best. They are the best of friends and play together all day long. I seriously sit on the couch all day and do nothing. So I thought, I guess I could have another baby.
