Fall Happenings

A big and not so fun day for Lexi. Her front two bottom teeth are already most of the way in and her tooth just wasn't that wiggly. I told her to wiggle it a lot, but after a week it still hadn't made that much progress. So...instead of hearing her complain I did the crazy and grabbed some pliers. Yep, it took a few turns but I got it our successfully and without too much pain (at least for me)!! She was a tough girl! The tooth fairy was pretty generous with her first experience!
#2 came out about a week later when she was at the dentist. It was not wiggly at all, but those teeth were already coming up behind them so fast the dentist agreed it needed to come out. She was terrified that they were going to pull it (WEIRD)!! Afterwards she said she wants the dentist to pull it our every time. I told her to start saving her money!! The tooth fairy didn't provide the funds that she wanted for tooth #2 and she was a little upset, but she needs to learn the concept of money sometime, why not now!
3 weeks after Jesse's surgery he was going pretty crazy so I thought a little outing would be nice. We went for a stroll around Gardner Village and had a really great time on such a beautiful day. Jesse did so well getting around!
Man I love this crazy kid. He is the master of funny things!
Lexi is the pickiest eater ever and I told her if she didn't eat her lunch that she couldn't have a snack or anything other than water until dinner. This is her realizing her wrongs!!
Our little Mess Maker is getting so big and has the heart to prove it. She can cause some serious trouble and pout often, but she is such a sweet girl who is getting prettier by the day.
Here is the sexy man that I couldn't live without. I'll take him crippled in pain, or any other way!

I love Elvis' face in the background and my cute little munchkin man. He can roll over in both directions now. However, her doesn't choose to do it often! He is attempting to sit up and is adorable doing it. He is such a sweetheart and makes everyone around him feel special. He is a tall, skinny boy. 15% for weight and 75% for height. He still wakes up a couple times a night, but I still love him. He loves, loves food and likes to eat as much baby food as possible.
These two love the four wheeler. They have very similar destructive personalities!

 AHHH that smile
The girls wanting to do a painting project, and Bodee scheming how to make it unsuccessful.
 Tess adores this little boy.
This is the calm before the storm......
Here is the storm. Jesse's hip surgery.
These are the tumors pulled off of his hip

Jesse's first surgery went very well minus the 4 hour recovery where I didn't know where he was or what was happening. They told me he was done and to go up to his room. His blood pressure was so low that they couldn't let him go. They also completely took him off of his pain meds to try to raise it. So, when I finally saw him it was horrifying. He did recover very quickly, I was very proud of him. Unfortunately 3 weeks later, he had an infection that presented itself and it was horrifying. He was in so much pain I had to call the ambulance to help me get him to the hospital where the dr. went in for a second procedure. This time things did not go amazingly. We are day 5 in the hospital, hoping to go home in a few days. We are trying to keep our faith up, but it has been taxing on the whole family. Our kids miss us terribly, and our family has had to pick up our lives and all of the crazy pieces. They have done amazing. We have no idea what we would have done without the prayers and love of so many.
Another getaway to cascade springs to get Daddy outside before this last surgery. It was such a beautiful drive. I'm so grateful for this beautiful weather.
I had the awesome job for 3 whole days of watching my sisters kids. Wow they are some serious cuties. I wish they could hang around more often. This was right before Chantelle wrote on our seats and unbuckled Bodee's carseat (without) me knowing, causing him to fling into the door on our way home!! Kina we can laugh about it now!!
Classic Bodee story... He comes to me the other day pulling on his bum. So I go to change his diaper thinking he might have a rash, and nothing. Next he stands up and wants his shirt off. Then he takes me to the bathroom and wants me to put him on. I do, then he has to have his socks off. Once his socks were off, he thought it was ok to pee at that point. I have put him on the toilet a few times here and there, but nothing consistent. I was so proud of my little munchkin. My mom got him some pull ups, so we will see where it goes from here.
My awesome family made sure that my kids did Halloween activities with them since we couldn't be there to make the holiday special. Another reason my family rocks!!
I was able to run home and gets the kids and myself ready in a flash. Just like my super hero Maverik! I took them around with their cousins and they had a blast. Then we went up to the hospital to go trick or treating with Daddy. He was so happy to see them and was so depressed that he missed this important moment for them. Tess was done trick or treating after a few houses, Bodee was scared to go up, but once there was excited about his treat, and Lexi woud have been fine going around all night.
