Family Times

We have been trying to fully enjoy life with Jesse's surgery coming up. It has included a lot of outdoor play and plenty of snuggles with the kids.
These kids are amazing and energetic. They are talented and can do just about anything. Lexi just got her round off backhandspring, Tess can do her back walkover but holds it for randsome.
Tess adores her little brother and is so sweet to him. He is one spoiled baby!
On a beautiful spring day one must go to the temple and see the beautiful flowers. This family is my everything and there is no better place than to reflect on the blessings that our Heavenly Father has given me.
I can just imagine this picture in her wedding video one day! Little tears are forming in my eyes!!
1 stroller 4 kids, no problem!
Spring would not be complete without an adventure to the zoo. The kids had so much fun. It was actually very handy to have the wheelchair. It's like a glorified stroller!
Nothing like ending the day to find your little boy has pulled down his pants to take a pee! There is definitely a story to this and Jesse's only response would be "That's Why"!

These cute little cousins are going to be buddies. Little hutch is perfectly nestled between Bodee and Maverik and I can imagine these cute boys getting in a lot of trouble!

After about 2 minutes of sitting down, Grandpa was out! So funny!
Jesse looks so vintage outside flying a kit.
This is what we call a tape shoe. This is what happens when you only pack one pair of shoes and loose one!
This beautiful day at Vivian Park was amazing. We had lunch, went fishing (lexi casted and reeled in her first fish by herself), Bodee catch a fishes eye, and Maverik was thrilled to be on the slides.
The Bees game was our last attempt before Jesse's surgery for fun. It was cold and wet, but a lot of fun.

Every man's dream. The remote and a drink!
Tess's dance recital was a crazy day. I had a lot of bad things going on with work. I forgot her teddy bear and barely made it in time for her to dance. Then, she pretty much stood there for the entire dance. She is luck that she is cute! She looks all upset in this picture because we had told her no or something silly and she is a sensitive little girl!
Before and after his first haircut. I was sad, but it actually looks much better.
Lake Powell Camping Trip
Our cute friends the Smiths and us went on a weekend getaway to Lake Powell/Goblin Valley.

On our four wheeler trip we saw some wild horses. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. The kids of coarse were amazed. They even had a tiny little baby!
It's hard to beat an amazing view like this. The trees, the sunset, and my beautiful family.
Update on Jesse
He had surgery yesterday and is doing great. He is already doing better than in the past few months, although the pain is pretty intense. The doctors said that his hip was one of the worst they had seen ever. He had so much scar tissue from the infection, they could barely get the joint out. He is in for a lot of physical therapy, but looks great and is in good spirits!

May 11, 2016
Well I would sure love to write in my journal more often but I truly don’t have the time. I have time right now because I am sitting in the hospital kidless while my hubby sleeps! He had a hip replacement yesterday afternoon and is doing fabulous. We were so nervous to come in since from last October not much has gone right for him with his hip. This is his 3rd surgery in 6 months. He is such a trooper and this has so far been the best experience yet. He has already walked with a walker and will attempt walking with crutches tonight. He is going to have a longer recovery than normal (of course)! He has so much scar tissue that they barely could get the hip out. His bone is also super soft. He is doing well though and is in good spirits! My cute family has my kids. Nicole has Bodee and says he is a sweetheart. Aaron and Brandi have the girls and they are all having a good time. We sure are going to miss them for a few more days. So much has happened since February that I know I will miss a lot but I will fill in the important details. Mainly I know that the Lord is mindful of me and my family and loves us. Jesse may be off for another 6 months of work which is crazy, but I’m hoping that we can figure it out and get through these hard times with dignity. I know Heavenly Father loves us and has a plan for us. Lets hope it’s a good one!! Lexi only has a few weeks left of school and then it’s party time. We are excited to have her home more and then off to 1st grade. A few day of school she and I will both have a hard time with that. I have just closed on my 4th house and I love getting a paycheck but wow real estate is stressful. I just hope I can get some more jobs! Hopefully! So the kids are doing amazing. Lexi has really been doing well with reading and picking it up well. She sadly doesn’t like it very much but I hope that will change. She is doing amazing at gymnastics and has her backspring down like a champ and is getting good at her round off backhandspring now. Tess just had her final dance recital in April and was adorable, but sadly just stood there looking for us! She didn’t seem to love dance so we are going to try gymnastics this next fall. She is flexible and talented, but a little lazy so we will see how she does. Bodee has become a sweetheart. He is super cuddly and helps out a lot. He finally sleeps better at night in his new bunk bed. He is still working on potty training and does great with pee (if he can pee outside) and not so great on poo. He pood on the neighbors sidewalk a few days ago!! He sure loves hunting and fishing and baseball. Maverik has changed a lot. He LOVES his binki which I should think about taking away soon! He is walking at 10 months and also got his canine teeth at 10 months. I believe his top teeth are coming in now at 11 months. He still sleeps through the night and is a good baby. He loves his mommy and is pretty clingy and loves to give kisses. He has the sweetest smile but can also throw some crazy fits. We are so happy to have our beautiful family. We get down every once in a while because we don’t have our own home and aren’t financially stable but we would rather have healthy kids instead. We have a family full of love!
