As much as I complain about Jesse and his love for all things outdoors, I LOVE how much he loves it. First of all he rocks at it and I love that he could feed us gross food in an emergency. And secondly, he's like a cute little kid at Christmas when he see's a big buck or catches a fish. He's had a crazy goal to catch a certain size fish in Utah every year and he has finally gotten what he wanted. I'm super happy for him.
And of coarse we need to add shooting a fox and a coyote to the list of his awesomeness.Bodee is a rockstar and is so much like his Dad. He's got talent galore.
Sledding at the Death Hill, what we call it, was a little crazy. These kids were fearless. I, on the other hand, was terrified. I went down the hill and wimped out of coarse and fell into a big pot hole and hurt my hinney. I laid there for awhile thinking I was paralyzed. HAHA I was pretty sore for a couple of weeks, but luckily my lower body still works!
These kids really love science projects. I have been finding dried pieces of crayons everywhere but I love seeing there joy in discovering life.
In January we suffered a pretty devastating loss in our family. Jesse's sweet Grandpa took his own life after a long journey with depression. Our lives our forever changed and he will be missed very much.
While we were in Kingston we needed to have some fun with the family. So ice skating on a very cracking pond was a good solution. Don't worry, the water was very shallow underneath!
We have SO many birthdays in a row but that didn't make celebrating this little dude's birthday any less awesome. This kid is a stud. He is an X-Box junky and rocks at it. Has a serious love for soccer and all things boy. He is super smart, funny and is a little on the timid side and has a serious obsession with his Dad!
Nickel Cade for the win for Bodee's birthday. We had a lot of fun as a family. This gorgeous face is the work of the kids. They started off doing a pretty face and I somehow ended up looking like vision from the Avengers.
Greek Day at school. I'm not going to lie I think I rocked their last minute outfits. They looked so cute.
I dropped the girls off for their first day of ski school. I had a hard time leaving them in the hands of someone else but they had the time of their lives. They did amazing. I'm so glad they love hanging out together.
This is the boys waiting for the girls. I can't wait to have them go together.
A little snowboarding at the park.
Bodee started Soccer this month and i've never seen him like a sport so much. He is fast, smart and totally enjoys it. A coach from another team came up to Jesse after one of his games to tell us how good Bodee was at soccer. We are sure proud of this boy.
Kid Updates:
Maverik says "ya because" all the time.
Bodee is going to do a primary talk and when I asked if he wanted me to hold the pictures or if he wanted to hold them. He says, "How about you talk and I'll hold the pictures." Lol
Maverik has a imaginary friend named AJ. He is hilarious and tells us all about him, his age, height, what he likes to do and apparently AJ teaches him a lot of things.
Another Maverik moment... We went to SLC to a U of U gymnastics game and went to Burger King before. The boys went to the bathroom and when they didn't return a few minutes later Jesse went to check in on them. He walked in to find Maverik sitting on the urinal going #2. He said it was not a lot of fun to clean up! Husband of the year!
