Enjoying some beautiful colors in Butterfield Canyon. I love the realness of Lexi in the 3rd picture. Haha so annoyed by someone!
I was so lucky to be able to go with Bodee on his first field trip. He has a cute group of friends. Definetly harder to chaperone a group of boys than girls but they were fun. One kid was a little too touchy to me but kind of laughable. The fact that he's always the one doing something crazy makes so much sense when I have been getting calls and texts from his teacher saying he has a very hard time sitting steal. He tells me he has to sit on the "cow bench" all the time. One day he was so excited and told me I only had to sit on the cow bench one time today. haha we will figure out a way to handle this!
Picking out some gear for our side by sides. They all picked out their colors and helmets.
I went with Lexi on her field trip to This is the Place. It was the same week as Bodees. Bodees field trip was hott, Lexi's was freezing cold. Couldn't wait for it to end. Even thought I love spending time with her.
What can I say about this cute team. Wow have they made leaps and bounds this season. They went from the very bottom of the bracket to taking third. Their last game in the finals was so insane. Lexi held that team and seriously rocked it. She made good serves EVERY time. She returned the ball well. But they ended up loosing by 2 points in the 3rd round. So much fun. I love how intense Lexi is. Sometimes its not awesome, but she is fun to watch.
We see deer up on the hill almost every morning. One night we put out a pumpkin on our back porch and we had a really nice buck bed up right behind our house just 30 yards and a doe came right by us sat there and ate. It is so much fun.
We let the kids pick out their own pumpkins this year. They had a great time at Peterson Farms.
Our neighborhood has a cool tradition and they do a pumpkin roll every halloween. It again was a rainy, nasty day but it is a pretty cool tradition. We love our neighborhood.
The first snowfall was gorgeous but much too early.
Moab for Fall Break 2019
It was so beautiful
We went with some good friends the Smiths. It was so great for Bodee and Maverik to have so many boys to play with. They became friends very quickly. The first ride we went on was called Hells Revenge and then an even harder part called Hells Gate. Its a 7/10 on the difficulty range. I can't believe we did it. I thought we were going to die and we had our kids with us. I thought this was bad but it just got worse..!
It was a weekend full of death defying stunts. We went to the indian ladder which I don't remember being that bad but with 10 little kids what were we thinking.
Yes thats a tiny ledge we are sitting on. We cant go down and we have to make a decent leap to go up to an easier way down. Jesse sat on the other side of the ledge and helped us all over. Holy crap it was so scary.
We went to some caves and walked around for awhile. They just kept going and going.
This is were it got really scary. This jeep was truly stuck. We couldn't get around them. It was getting dark and cold. It took maybe 10 guys to get this guy unstuck. There was a cliff on one side and it looked uterly hopeless. I was terrified. But Jesse got up after they helped the other guy with no problems.
These two yahoo's hunting in the freezing cold. This Halloween creativity brought us Sacajawea
Audrey from Descendants
Batman and all his coolness
And Hates from Descendants
Jesse and I hit up 3 school parties and had a great time trick or treating with the kids. We had way more trick or treaters than I thought we would living up on a hill. We took the kids out on Tazer the Razor we call it and blasted Halloween music. It was a blast.
