May 2022

While I was with Lexi in California, Jesse was at home with Tess for her competition. They did amazing and Tess landed every aerial even on the slippery hard gym floor.

The month of May is always a transitional month I feel like. We are all so ready to be done with school, the weather is getting warmer, usually! My heart and soul are ready to play. I believe the school teachers feel the same. May is full of field trips, and lots of fun activities. Lexi felt jipped because the 6th graders didn't get to have quite as much fun. She's in for a rude awakening in Jr. High!

I got to go with Tess on her field trip. We went to the capitol building. Her group was adorable and I got to co/mom with Sara, Andie's mom. Andie is Tess's good friend and Conner is her brother who Lexi is in love with! Sara and I became friends fast and have since hung out a lot. So glad Tess has such fun, cute friends.

We took such fun photos and had a blast with these girls.

The end of May we got to go to Kingston to the family reunion. We had a great time and hadn't been there for awhile. The boys shot a million birds, drove the T-Rex, went fishing, and had lots of fun cousin time.
We went with Kina and her family to a rugby game. What a blast we had. The kids got on the jumbotron 7 times, danced, chanted and ended the night off with some spectacular fireworks.
I was able to go to Lexi's end of year banquet with her. They said such amazing things about her work ethic and talent. She's such a sweet girl and it was fun to hang out with her at the aquarium.
Tess had a part in her end of year performance of Utah songs. It was adorable and she did so well on her part. Memorized it and didn't make any mistakes.
Jesse was finally able to make an awesome hunting kill. I can't tell the story like he can so hopefully he wrote it in his journal! It was a beautiful bear that he got in Montana. He had some cool experiences with wolves and took some great pictures.
Bodee had his end of year soccer party which was so much fun. We rented out the South Jordan pool for the families and we had such a great time.
Maverik never takes naps anymore so this had to be documented and Lexi is now a chef, or at least she thinks she is. She has a lot to learn but is making leaps and bounds in the kitchen. I'm loving it.
I got put in activity days and have already had a blast with these cute boys. They have such very different personalities and its fun to get to know them.
Lexi made it to Regional Competition for gymnastics in California. The competition was pretty fierce. She ended up with 3rd on vault and 8th overall which was pretty fantastic seeing how it was her very first year competing and there were 28 of the best girls.
Brandi threw a big party for her in Utah. Such a sweet guesture. I have some great family.
Before regionals I've never seen her eat so much food. Crepes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, OJ. She ate it all. She is a big fan of Denny's.
The kids got to hang out with Dusky's kids and reconnect after years. They played kick ball for hours. It was so much fun. Jesse has a great family.
What a great picture for Memorial Day. They did not pose for these pictures. We just happened to look out the window and see's these brave, great boys. They couldn't have thought this up any better.
