Happy 1st Birthday Lexi! I'm sure every parent understands me when I say I truly can't believe my child is 1 years old. How did that happen. Well I feel so blessed to have this little girl in our lives. She makes us laugh so much. She is full of life and energy. I have enjoyed watching her grow so much. She has gotten so smart in the last few weeks. She says aw oh all the time. She LOVES her mommy and is a little too attached :) She will point to things when you say them. She still eats a lot although it has gotten a little better. She loves playing with older kids and reading the totally awsome book my mom gave her!

She had 2 birthday celebrations this year and loved eating both cakes. She really ate a lot of the cake.
Jesse's wonderful family were supposed to come to Florida to spend Christmas and Lexi's birthday with us, and ended up having to drive from Florida to Georgia to be with us. So much for being responsible and getting tickets ahead of time. We are REALLY greatful they were here with us. Thanks Cody for wearing the birthday hat. You look so cute!

What is she up too?? She did this all by herself!

She reminds me of me in this picture. Look at those big teeth!! She is getting her molar teeth in now and wow they are the worst. She was SOOOO cranky and didn't sleep.
Playing with Grandma Allen
Thanks Aunt Amy and Uncle Tyler for her awsome drum set. As you can see, she loves it!
My hubby in his sexy uniform...I'm flying in the back of his plane tomorrow. Wish me luck :)

Who knew Georgia was SO cold. Not me... But it was awsome to see snow falling on Christmas. It was very Christmasy! We went to Stone Mountain to see the carvings of the southern generals. It was very cool, however, I was expecting to see a big mountain. I guess it's big to some people.

We spent Christmas in a hotel. Yep! We were supposed to be in our new home, but apparently it takes FOREVER to get a home, so we spent our christmas in a hotel with a 3 ft. tree that we bought on Christmas Eve. It suprisingly was a great Christmas. We didn't get much, but ended up filling the true meaning of Christmas even more. I am so greatful for this time of year and having the savior in my life.

What the french! Christmas in a hotel, that is hilarious. What fun memories you all will have to look back on! Can't believe your little munchkin is 1 already. Pretty soon you'll have another one and be a full fledged mom that there is going back! Not like you're not with one but you know what i mean. Anyway, wish you worked out with me too, then I probably actually would workout and look as skinny as you.

I am sorry that you had to have Christmas in a hotel, but it kind of looked exciting! Lexi looks cute as ever and I can't believe she is 1 already. I swear it just seems like last month you were telling me that you were prego! Hopefully you have moved in by now! I am going to call you soon! Miss you!

The same thing happened to my family when we moved to Georgia, we had to spend weeks in a hotel for our house. That's so funny! I had the same reaction with Stone Mountain too... we Utahns mean mountain when we say mountain but to everyone outside of the Rocky Mountains I guess anything taller them can take the term. haha

Lexi is 1?! That's crazy! She's just as adorable as ever. I love the pigtails...always so precious. I can't wait to hear what it was like flying with Jesse! What an awesome experience that must've been!
