Our new life

Well we are officially Georgians. Proof of residency and all. It is SUCH a pain to move. Remind me not to do it in the next 10 years or so! However, on the bright side, we really like it. It is beautiful and it is so nice to be in our own house with room to move and play. Lexi has really enjoyed having cousins to play with.

This is the barn from the movie Sweet Home Alabama. It's about 15 minutes from our house and has a beautiful waterfall next to it. We love driving past it.
Lexi had to get tubes in her ears and her tongue clipped because she was still a little tongue tied. I was terrified to take her in, but it wasn't that bad. The really hard part was watching them put her to sleep she seemed so scared not knowing what was going on and that I wasn't helping her. But...overall she was up and playing that day like nothing was wrong. It's amazing how quickly they did the surgery 20 minutes and they were done. The really hard part is that I can't get her ears wet at all. So bathtime is a little hard and I know she'll want to play in the water a lot this summer, but I'll just have to be really careful. She'll wear earplugs pretty well. I couldn't find one of them the other night, and the next morning I found it in her diaper in her poop. GROSS!! I couldn't believe she swallowed that huge thing and she was ok. I guess I need to be watching her better.
Lexi's not complete room, but working on it!

Our kitchen. Thanks mom for the help in making everything look so good. She has such great ideas.
Our family room. I have had A LOT of fun painting.
