Coloring Easter Eggs...What a mess!
Lexi was so excited to go get the eggs. We got right in front of the eggs, perfect spot, they said go, and she went. She ran, fast, to the other side of the field. Where she was going, we have no idea. By the time she started picking up eggs, they were almost gone. So, she got a few eggs, but a lot of laughs. She had a blast regardless!

We have had so much fun and done so much this month already. We took a little camping trip to Historic Banning Mills and had a blast.
Jesse caught some fish, however not as many as he'd like. Something about the cycles of the moon. Sounds like a great excuse right!

Lexi swimming naked in the lake. She took a little plung to her death without her life jacket on at one point and scared us to death. Luckily Jesse has great reflexes and caught her before she went all the way in. Yes, great parenting I know. But unless you have a Lexi you won't understand her persistent personality. We did learn a lesson though!!

Hiking

Poor Tess. She is now 5 months old, but she just had her 4 month check up. She had a VERY hard night and did not handle the shots well. But she recovered quickly and is back to being a sweetheart. I can't remember her exact measurments, but it's somewhere around 22% weight 13 lbs. 42% height and 2% head! She is a small fry compared to our Lexi. She is such a good girl and has a new thing of sucking on her bottom lip and getting sores. She rolls over from front to back and drools a lot. She wakes up 1 time a night and still doesn't eat very much. She is such a sweet baby and makes you feel amazing because she'll smile at everything you do!

SMILE!! Lexi is such a blast to have around. Her knew loves are lion king which she likes to watch daily. She knows all of the songs and has to have her stuffed animal there to sing with her. She loves to sing anything, and is starting to do summer saults with no hands now. She is a little monkey and we are crazy about her.

Syrup running down her face and all.!

This is an exciting day. Anyone that is a parent understands this. How annoying is it trying to prop up the bottle, and it never seems to work. Well, that day is getting better and better thanks to the opposible thumbs!

My husband is a genius. He's one of those guys you can send into the wilderness with a q-tip and a pocket knife and they build you a shopping mall! He made this awesome swing set that gets used 50x's a day. Thanks Jess, you continue to amaze me with your mad skills.

That swingset is bomb! Love the rustic logs he used. Also, I've never understood how kids can fall asleep sitting up eating! It's so crazy, i know they do it all the time though. However, I never have had a child that did. Weird.
Love, love, love this post!!! Lexi's butt-cheek hanging out... classic!!!
I love it!!! Lexi's butt is a "crack up." LOL...I know I'm funny. I love the swing set, how cool is that!! Tess does look a lot like Bryton, they are most definitely cousins!
I would love to help answer any questions you have! Just email me at ktavernari@yahoo.com. Your girls are darling, and I can't believe how grown up Lexi is! I swear I remember reading updates from when she was Tess' size! So fun!!!
