Lovin Life

The last few weeks have been amazing for me. Besides the recent vein removal surgery I had almost a couple of weeks ago, that was pretty painful and ugly, my life has been great. My kids have been angels. I haven't felt good enough to run around 24-7 like I normally do and I got to sit down, play with my kids, and just enjoy my beautiful life. Tess has grown up so much lately. She has a little attitude, absolutely HAS to stick her whole hand in her mouth after she eats a bite of food (super messy) and is into everything. I thought she was a lot weaker than Lexi was, but she is freakishly strong too. She picked up crawling in 2 days, literally, and she is trying to stand by herself all of the time. She likes to push her little walker around and get places. My kids are so smart, or just don't like to sit around. Probably like their mom! Lexi has a serious love for mermaids so we had a sleepover one night while Jesse was gone and watched Aquamarine which is a horrible teenage show, which I happen to love. Luckily, she does too! She has such a fun personality. She has a great future ahead of her. Jesse just finished training to upgrade aircraft to a CRJ700/900. He loves the new plane and is excited to have 1st class meals on board! Now he has to say no to cookies and chips all day! Poor guy, what a rough job!

It got ridiculously hot here for a couple of days and the 3" pool just wasn't cutting it, so we broke down and bought a 18" pool to go in the back yard. It has been so much fun. What a way to spend the summer! I just don't want to get our water bill!

I love having 2 girls. What is more fun than dressing them alike...Nothing!

The Goulding girls. Could they all be any cuter.

The 4th of July was a blast. I did really miss being with my family as they went to the Stadium of Fire without us, but I was very happy to be together as a family in Georgia. Jesse was home which was awesome.  We went to a parade in Peachtree City and sat with all our fellow mormons! We have such an awesome ward and have made so many friends here. Tess loved it and Lexi loved the candy, although she is still terified of any loud noise. Then we went to our friends house and swam for a few hours. Next we went to a barbaque at another friends house and followed that by some fireworks at a golf course. It was such a fun day and we were so happy to be able to celebrate our freedom together as a family. We are truly a family that is proud of our country and are greatful for all of those who have made it possible to be here.
It has been 5 years since my dad has been gone. I will never forget the last time I saw my dad. Jesse and I decided to stay in St. George to spend the 4th of July with my family. We had such a fun day with them and went to the stadium for fireworks. We all walked out together and Jesse and me had driven seperately so we could head home afterwards. My Dad kept asking if we were ok and insisting that he would walk us back to our car. I kept telling my dad I was a big girl now and we would be fine. So he gave me a big hug, told me he loved me, and we went our seperate ways. I will never forget that moment. My Dad was an angel which must be why Heavenly Father needed him. 5 years is a long time, and it was especially hard for me to have him gone this year for some reason. I want so badly for him to give my kids his big bear hugs. The ones where you can't breath! I miss him more than I can explain and I can't wait to see him again. I know he watches over my family and I hope that I make him proud the way he has made me.  LOVE YOU DADDY!
