So May was a crazy, fun month. We had a lot of fun. So much fun in fact that Jesse was only in the house for 2 days. We devoted this month as trip month. Jesse has training in June to upgrade to a bigger plane and July is Utah and then he starts school again in August. So we decided to take a camping road trip. Risky move with 2 little kids, but thanks to technology it was a blast.
Ruby Falls
St. Louis Zoo
This peacock was a big showoff. He stayed there forever. I eventually walked past him and he chased me. Crazy bird.
This was an awesome zoo and Lexi and Tess had a blast.
St. Louis Arch
Oh my goodness. I love this little girl. She is such a sweetheart.
Nauvoo, Illinois
Nauvoo is such a fun place to visit. We wished we had more time to explore it, but we learned so much in our short visit and had a good time.
Carthage Jail. The spirit that you feel here is so strong, even with a 2 year old running around the room.
Root Beer in front of the Red Brick Store. Getting WASTED!
After we got home, we did laundry and headed out the door to SLC.
7 Peaks Water Park. Highlights of the day...Watching Lexi play with her cousins who she loves, freezing in the water, hitting my head on a ride with Jesse, watching my married sister Nicole rubbing oil on a random guys back! Oh the memories!
We ended our trip in St. George when we went to celebrate the life of an amazing man Tanner Holt. Jesse had the privledge of knowing Tanner very well. They've been friends for along time and have spent a lot of time together. Tanner meant a lot to our family and we will miss him very much. We are great friends with his brother and sisters and his amazing parents and are greatful to have them with us to share together all of the memories.
