White Pocket memorial. Jesse was never able to go to my dad's memorial last year and he really wanted to go. So...my awesome sister and her hubby Chad made it happen so we could have some 4-wheelers and go on our 21/2 hour journey (on 4-wheerlers) to the trail head. Our girls have never been on a 4-wheeler and Lexi was TERRIFIED. She screamed and cried when we tried to put her on. I said, fine then stay in the truck and we will go. Kidding of coarse! She says, OK and goes to the truck and gets in her car seat. So funny! Anyways I made her go and about 2 seconds into the ride she was lovin life and having a blast. Thank goodness. Tess was an angel and slept for a lot of it. Her poor little head bobbing up and down!

Lexi and Char got along so well and had the time of their lives. We sure love watching these two together.
The only thing that could have made this day better is my Dad and Nicole's family being there.
Amelia Island, Florida
Yes...We have been blessed with amazing friends. Our sweet friends Jim and Marilyn invited us to stay with them on their beach house for the weekend. We love them and could actually stand to be in the same house with them all weekend, plus a trip to the beach. Awesome.
We had such an awesome time. The weather was perfect, the sand tasted great to little Tess, and Lexi saw dolphins and mermaids!! Oh yeah and Jim kicked our trash at scrabble. Who knew country boys knew how to spell.
It was so fun to walk out of the house to the beach. What a way to do it.

Made a lot of mermaids and sand castles
And got some great sunburns to prove it. I don't think our lives could be any more awesome! I feel blessed every day!
