I personally like to have bad news first so I can end on a happy note, so... our sweet dog, Jethro, had to be put down last week. The crazy thing swallowed a golf ball 6 weeks ago and we thought he actually passed it because he acted just fine. About a week ago I started noticing that he wouldn't play with the kids and he was getting very skinny. I feel bad that we waited so long, but we finally took him in, and sure enough there was the golf ball all the way down his small intestine. They could do a very expensive, and difficult surgery, but we decided against it since he was 8 years old and we couldn't really afford it. It was really sad to see him go, but I'm glad we had him and we will miss him very much. Lexi spent the next three days asking when Jethro was coming back from heaven.
Now, on to the good news. Both Lexi and Tess are the newest models for Atlanta Young Faces modeling agency. I am so proud and excited to see the outcome of their jobs. It might sound like a dumb thing to put your kids through, and if they hate it I'll take them out, but why not have them earn college money for looking cute! Who wouldn't want to be on a magazine cover or a toy...! You will be able to see Lexi's profile on on atlantayoungfaces.com soon.
Christmas Time...! It really is the most wonderful time of the year. There is so much to do and so much to see. I have enjoyed shopping, seeing lights, getting fatter, listening to Tess say "hi, hi, hi" instead of "ho,ho,ho", Listening to Lexi sing Christmas songs (rudolph is her favorite), and having Lexi so well behaved with the fear Santa won't come!!
We went with some good friends to Fantasy in Lights in Georgia. We had such a great time and it was beautiful weather. Cold enough to bundle up, but not cold enough to freeze.
I turned around from chasing Tess to see Lexi hugging rudolph which is a shocker. She is usually scared of people dressed up but didn't want to let rudolph go. We got to see Santa this year. This was the first year that Lexi didn't cry. Instead, she told him all about the pink bicycle that she wants for Christmas. The pictures are so cute but I can't get them to work. I thought Tess might cry, but she just sat there and starred. Oh they are so adorable and make Christmas perfect!

Lucky Jesse got to play a wiseman at our ward Christmas party . He so desperately wanted to be like Vince Vaughn on 4 Christmases but sadly didn't get any speaking parts. It was so cute though!
Here is Lexi being a good big sister. I love how well they play together now. IT makes the closness in age worth it!
