Our new sofa! Yes for awhile we had a slide as part of our family room furniture. We got this slide for our pool this summer and it was supposed to be warm right now. It should be 80 in a few days, but for now our kids are enjoying this slide, playing on it all day long. Good purchase!
Fishing for ducks at the Peachtree City Easter Egg Hunt
We had a trial egg hunt at our friends house the night before and Tess didn't do so well. If Tess has something in one hand, then she HAS to have one in the other hand too. So...she picked up two eggs and was content to not put them down. So, I was pretty surprised at how awesome she did at the hunt. She stayed in the same place but at least she picked up a bunch.
Here is good old Lexi and her butt crack! Haha love her. She did really good this year and got a ton of eggs and was pretty fast. She did however get a few leaves in her basket and during the really quick hunt had to get them out right then. She is such a perfectionist. She makes us laugh so hard. She is still terrified of the easter bunny and cried a lot until we finally left him. She must have known that it was a man. She hates men!
Easter morning. I love having kids. We had so much fun leaving a bunny trail. The kids loved there baskets and ate way too much.
This is proof that we feed her and she eats a lot. Who would know she is 4% in weight!!
Happy Easter everyone. One of my favorite parts of Easter was trying to teach the girls about the true meaning of Easter. Lexi can't get over the fact that he died, but I think maybe she got something from it. I am truly grateful for our Savior and the pain that he went through. I hope to remember this throughout the year and be deserving of his blessings.
We went on a freezing cold camping trips with some good friends for a couple of days. Of coarse we chose the coldest day of March, but we still had a blast and love being outdoors as much as possible. We were super smart and decided to go on a 4 mile hike with 4 little kids an hour before lunch. What were we thinking. Lexi and Tess actually did awesome but by 1.5 miles we were all ready to be done. We trusted our brave leader Jesse to take us backwoodsing up the mountain to find the road. I was a little leary, but followed. And yeah, he did it, we were done in no time! What a good time!
