Catch Up

Where has our summer gone. Well, I would say we have spent half of our summer in school books. Jesse is taking 18 credits this summer and it has been really, really hard. He is almost done with his bachelors degree though and I am so proud and excited! Amongst all of his schooling we have had a few fun vacations and good times that I need to catch up on. There will be a lot of pictures!

Just some cute pictures of the kiddos....
Enjoying the pool. Pools are such a pain to take care of, but on those hot Georgia days, there is not much that you can do outside, and the pool is well worth the effort!
Lovin Tess's fashion sense! Is it Tess's or Tesses or Tess'?? Kina I need help :)
My adorable daughter loves to learn. She does amazing at writing. Yes, I may be a bad mom but as soon as I taught her poop, she thought it was hilarious and now wants to learn how to spell every word. Now she is on fire..Way to go POOP!!
Lovin on brother
Yep, she did this herself!

Camping in Ashville, North Carolina. Jesse flies into Ashville quite a bit and said it is gorgeous. It was only a 4 hour car ride so we decided to spend a few days camping. It was better than I thought it would be. We had so much fun. Our campground was awesome and the girls had a blast in the river. It was freezing and of coarse our clutsy Tess fell in. We went on several hikes. The kids loved the waterfalls and Lexi was a trouper and walked the whole way every time. They were decently hard hikes too! Tess would have walked more, but she is super clutsy and fell too many times for us to warrent her walking anymore. Bodee loves being outside and was amazing the whole trip. We love that boy.
Yep, it's a pink stroller. Bodee sleeping through fishing!
Daddy and his girls. They caught so many fish and Lexi just had to take one home and eat it. It was delicious and they had a blast. It is amazing to me how desensitized to death and animals these girls are. Such a different life than I had. My Dad would take spiders outside, and my kids like to investigate the death of kittens and possums outside our house.
Funny pic!
Beautiful North Carolina Smokey Mountains, and my cute, funny kiddos
The Yummy Fish
We
A little stray kitten that we found at our house. The girls loved on this thing even though it was kind of mean. We found a good home for it. It will be the only time a cat will be seen at our house for sure.
Bodee is eating rice cereal and downs it. My girls always had a hard time starting foods, he eats SO much. I'm nervous for our food bill in a few years!
Our June Utah trip. We will have gone to Utah every month from May to October and probably December too. WOW we love our families. We decided we are moving back ASAP even if Jesse has to commute, then we might be able to have vacations other than Utah!!
Aunt Brandi is the coolest and does the funnest things with the kids. However Tess wasn't so fond of this one. Until she saw how much Lexi and Char liked it. Such a copy cat. Chantelle needs to grow up soon so Tess has someone else to play with. She is a little shadow. They played and played with their cousins. I never see them when we are there.
We were able to go to our new niece Hadley's baby blessing. She is SO beautiful and we were so happy to go to Moab finally and see there beautiful home and make a lot of memories with them.
Lexi LOVES her cousin Hunter. What cute boys they are!
I love this growing family. I am so happy to be a part of there family!

Bodee is a active, happy, adorable child. He is 5 months old and rolls both ways and sits up very well. He sleeps great only waking up 1 time a night. He smiles no matter what I do and only gets mad when he is hungry.
Fourth of July! My favorite holiday. Sun, Water, Parades, and Fireworks. LOVE it!! The kids got lots of candy at the parade and Bodee loved watching it.
Being adorable.
Playing at the golf coarse waiting for fireworks. Our ward family is amazing and does everything together. There is always a big group of us awesome peeps to hang out with.
Proof that even I get in the cold water!
Bodee making friends with our neighbors!
Obsessed with those beautiful eyes and chin!!
Braving the sparklers.
The fourth of July was the last day that I saw my Dad 7 years ago. I always cry my eyes out during fireworks. It is bittersweet for me. We had such an amazing last day with my Dad and I will forever be grateful. However, I miss him SO much that it still hurts my heart. I think of all of the things I wish he could tell me and the way that my kids would love him. I can't wait for the day to introduce them, even though I already know that he knows them. I am most thankful for Jesus Christ and our his love for us and the sacrifice that he made so that we can be together forever. I wish that everyone could understand and have the knowledge that I have of eternal families. My life would be so much harder if I could see the eternal perspective of everything!!
