Summer Life

I feel so blessed to always have so much to catch up on. My life is definitely not dull, but it does make it hard to keep up on my blog. As usual, we had another trip to Utah. It was a fun filled vacation! We started out with the St. George Airshow. We may have been a little crazy to go in July to an airshow, especially in St. George, but we like to party. We had a blast and drank lots and lots of water.
I love this picture because it just explains my little girl. She is so stubborn and moody. It gets irritating, but is also pretty funny. She had a lot of fun even though it doesn't look like it.
Jesse's whole family came. Even grandparents and some cousins. They are such troopers. Jesse loves to share his love of planes with them. (The hair is compliments to Aunt Brandi)!
We took my cute nephews and we had a great time. Love those boys! They were so well behaved, even though my sis was afraid they would wander off!!
Our third week in Utah consisted of an awesome road trip with my sister Kina and her family to South Dakota. Everyone kept asking why South Dakota...Why not...It was gorgeous, and AWESOME. We drove 10 hours with 5 kids. Hmmm. It could have been worse. They were actually pretty good and we had a lot of fun.
Our campground was amazing for the first 4 nights. Tons of grass, in the mountains, just perfect. We ate a lot of smores!
On day one, we went on a hike called Little Devils Tower. It was catagorized at a strenuous hike, but thought if it gets too hard we will just turn back. Our little kiddos did great and made it up and back all by themselves. Not really a complaint til about 1/4 to the end. It was 3 miles and the last mile was all boulders straight up. It was beautiful and so much fun.
Us adults sure got a work out packing the 3 younger kids, but it was so worth it.

It is so hard getting carried around. You should have seen the mass amounts of sweat in certain places :)
My sister is one tough cookie and kicked my butt.
HAHAHA this is my sweet little Bodee's face 25% of the time. I am so happy I caught it on camera, especially with Jesse's impression. He makes a little breathing out noise with it. HILARIOUS!
While the boys fish, the girls go swimming fully clothed! Don't worry we consented and were watching.
We saw a plethora of buffalo's and baby buffalo's. The kids never got sick of them.
Mount Rushmore was so much fun. It is so impressive.
Crazy Horse Memorial. They are crazy to think they are ever going to finish this!!
These are some cute kids. We can't wait until Chantelle is old enough to make the trio a foursome. The fights will be fewer I hope. Even with times that they had their feelings hurt, they had so much fun together.
The Wind Tunnell
This was SO funny. I told the kids to put their arms around each other's shoulders and this is what they came up with....
Catching frogs. Only my girls would be so into this. Lexi wanted to keep them as pets, Tess wanted to torture them!
Bear country was amazing. Those little bears were so darn cute. We had so much fun looking at them.
The kids each got to pick out a toy and Lexi decided on an Arctic Fox and Tess settled for a reindeer after several mind changes. Who would have thought!!
Storybook Island was like a kids wonderland. We had so much fun there.
The princesses from the magic show.
What an awesome fun trip. Thank you Kina and Chad
We started out in Saint George and got to spend the 24th of July with my family. We had a blast and we were so happy we could be there.
Sand Hollow. A windy, but fun day!
What a great trip. We also got to fit in some friend time and are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family.
