Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall....

 Georgia Civil War Reenactment
I have always wanted to see one of these and finally got a chance to go. We had so much fun. It lived up to my expectations. However, I wasn't prepared for how loud or hot it was going to be.
Tess and Lexi trying not to die of heat stroke and loud noise. They at least liked the horses. They are such troopers for indulging me in my passions.
In this battle, one of the generals legs got blown off. They buried the leg here and the marker says here lies the leg of general ___!! How funny.
 Atlanta Zoo
We decided to take the kids to do something fun before Lexi started school. The kids were running from one animal to the next too fast for us to keep up. They had so much fun. It was gorgeous and not too hot.
Our sweet little animal tamer. Both girls just adore animals. I'm so happy they aren't scared of them at all!
Finally, the kids aren't scared of the carousel. Tess cried because she wanted to go again. I mean screamed, not cried!! Lexi was starting preschool the next day and I was so nervous that I was going to cry and cry and cry. Luckily, Lexi threw her biggest fit of her life on the way home because we wouldn't get her ice cream, so I wasn't too sad to let her go to school!!
Her first day of preschool. Stars Mill Preschool. She was SO excited. She said her favorite color is pink. She wants to be a gymnast when she grows up, and her favorite food is mac & cheese. She colored a picture for her teacher. (little brown noser). It was a great picture though and her teacher loved it. She has made some friends and only tells me what she had to eat that day. The day after though, she will tell me what I forgot to give her (show and tell)!! What a cute little stinker. I miss her when she is gone, but am happy to have some time to spend with Tess.
My sweet little man. 8 months old. He is getting SO big,but I am loving this little guy. At 8 months old he has 2 bottom teeth. He still wakes up once a night, but it is getting better. He doesn't cry very often, unless Tess is playing with him and doesn't let him go. She malls him to death. He will NOT stop moving. He can crawl 100 mph, he pulls himself up everywhere and follows me around hanging onto my leg. He loves Mom and Dad equally which is weird for us! He does the funniest faces. His new one is a big smile with closed eyes. He laughs a lot, eats lots of food, adores his sisters and being outside.
 County Fair
The girls weren't quite sure about it. Who would have thought we have to force our kids to have fun!
This bus scared Tess for a year. She said she didn't like the up and down and she scram very very loud the whole ride!
This little girl is loving tball and being the only girl on her team!
