Our family loves camping and we try a new place out every year. Jesse had some pilots tell him all about Telluride, CO and how amazing it was. We were not disappointed. It was stunningly beautiful with more waterfalls than I imagined.
Getting a picture of the kid crew was no easy task as you can see. This is the crazy crew minus Miles and Maverik.
Man, he is such a hansome little mimic of Jesse. Some lucky girl is going to be so lucky one day!
If it wasn't for all of the democrats and hippies, I would love to live here!

Our first hike was on a really hot day and we were not prepared with water rations, but we made it and it was well worth it.

The crazy crew
Hiking is just really hard when you have to be carried
The Lambert family has grown up loving ghost towns. So, despite horrible roads we forged on to this awesome cool ghost town. Now if only i wasn't so terrified of them. The group decided to make up a fake murder story, which of coarse i fell for 100% and then they left me alone in a room. NOT COOL! Pay back.
Priest Lake
Bodee would not let Jesse go fishing without him, ever. He had to have the rod in his hands and even fell asleep with it in his hands. I think Jesse was in heaven.
The waterfalls contine
The coolest mining town happened to be on the most narrow road ever. I am afraid of heights and help my breath on several occasions, but it was Kina who almost didn't make it. Luckily Chad comes prepared with medicine and drugged her enough to get her up there. HAHA what a woosie!
Tess's favorite part of the trip was the gondola. You had to take this beautiful, scenic ride to get to Telluride and it was so worth it.
Yep he is carrying 3 kids! It was during this hike where I decided there is a time and a place for all things and hiking is not in our time frame.
These two lead the pack the whole way and never really slowed down.
