Our sweet Lexi is now off to 1st grade. I can't believe how fast this year flew by. Lexi moved schools at the first of the year and was really sad because her and her cousin Charlotte were in the same class. She still misses her a lot but I am grateful that she had the chance to go to a charter school. It was really good for her. She went in not knowing how to read at all and now she is doing quite well. She doesn't love to read and struggles a little bit still, but her progress is amazing. She made some friends this year and always seems to enjoy school. Her award this year was teacher follower because she LOVES adults and always wants to near them. I told her she has to be done with that next year though or she'll never make any friends!! She's just a little sweetheart and can be very timid. We are very proud of her and have loved having her home this summer.
