Allen Happenings

Our girls took over our room and got a full bed. Bodee woke up in the middle of the night and joined them thinking it was me. Yes!  I knew this was a good idea!
These boys are the busiest, craziest, and funniest boys around.
If only ms Tess was around this might be an all time favorite photo!
Lexi's first day of 1st grade. Mrs. Taylor's class at Early Light Academy. I was very very nervous for her to go back to school. Her attention span is not the best and she has stuggled with reading despite my many attempts to help. She had a rough few days getting used to a full day, but has adapted well and has been a reading champ. I'm so proud of her. The first day that I dropped her off I stayed for awhile and watched through a window. She didn't know I was there and some cute girls asked her to sit by them. She started to sit by them and looked around the room and saw a girl sitting by herself and left her new friends and went and sat by her. She has such a tender heart and am thankful for her sweet spirit.
We finally tried mini golf with the family and soon realized they are still a little young and it was more like a crazy circus, but they had fun and I enjoy introducing them to different things in life and seeing them take it all in.

Bodee was pretty excited about the first horn he found which was a glorified stick. We didn't have the heart to break the news to him!
These cute kids love to help daddy with his workouts! Its a good thing he works out. On day 6 of a 10 day stretch of work for Jesse, Tess told me at night that daddy was going to come back fat. I said, "Tess what makes you say that?" She said, "Because you packed him a lot of food!"
Our Moab/ Blanding trip was so much fun. We were able to attend Zeke's baby blessing which was amazing. We love that little boy and his amazing parents. We were also able to stay with Amy and Tyler in Moab and enjoy their cute family and the beauty of Moab. We went down the colorado river which was so much fun. It started out pretty tame and mild. Then about half way through it started lighting, thundering and pouring rain on us. Those poor girls were freezing cold but they were troopers. I almost made Tess go, but then was very glad that she didn't!
Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!
There first time at classic skating for Lexi's back to school was a huge success. They absolutely had a blast!
This little guy got to go to Grandmas and Grandpas for a whole weekend by himself to go hunting. To say he was spoiled was an understatement. He got a camo outfit and binoculars. He was in heaven.
And these crazy dudes went to Montana when Jesse was still not able to walk very well. He was fishing from his dads home made and designed fishing seat and the seat fell over which is pretty high up there and he couldn't walk. It sounded pretty dangerous but also pretty funny! They had a really good time catching huge fish!
This picture was not planned. How adorable is this!
Tess has hated dance since the day we put her in so this year we tried to put her in tumbling like Lexi and she has loved it and is doing amazing. She has surprised us by how hard she works and how good she is.
And Bodee wanted to show us his muscles.
Here is Maverik and his many cuteness moments!
She loves trying to do bubble gum tricks.
Yep that's frosty all over him. This is what you do when your desperate for kids to be good in the car on a long drive
