Springtime Fun

Temple Square in the Spring is AMAZING! Those flowers are always spectacular even though it was rather cold.

These crazy kiddos are so fun to be around. Unless of coarse Maverik is running around being naughty which is a lot of the time.

This little slugger started t-ball. He was HILARIOUS. The first game he struggled a lot, but it was so fun to watch. He swung at the ball several times, ran across the field at nothing, threw his glove in the air and continued trying to catch it, and pretty much anything that involved not paying attention, but he sure looked cute. The second game he actually didn't pretty awesome.

This little dude sure loves his outfits!

Sleepovers in the bounce house. YES!!

A little love mark from Maverik to Bodee. One day I really hope to not deal with this stuff! I know I shouldn't wish these days away, but some days I kind of wanna.

Some cute ones with these sweet boys of mine.

How many kids can you fit in a car....Probably 8. I guess we will have to try!

I can never get sick of these photos where I try to get a good picture and come so close.

A little Saint George time is just what we needed in February. We love to take every chance we can to get away from the every day norms and we feel so lucky to have a great place to visit and to spend time with my cute mom.

While Aunt Whitney is away the Allen's will play. HAHA she would have killed me, but it was so cute!

We have an awesome neighborhood with some of the cutest kiddos ever.

Lehi Fun Center. Rides, crying kids (making them go on rides), laser tag, miniature golf = Slight disaster!

We have been taking a few trail rides on beautiful days and have enjoyed seeing our two girls riding bikes with us. They ride so well and it is so fun to be outdoors, in the mountains.

These outings would not be complete without, of coarse, some fishing. Bodee is still obsessed and Jesse is now trying to get him into fly fishing, although he still has yet to actually catch a fish! But of coarse he LOVES it. Thank goodness Jesse is a great fisherman and can get them all fish to reel in. Tess cried when I told her we had to go because she wanted to catch another fish. I, of course, gave in and we stayed a little longer!

Some more of his outfits!

Getting this little guy to nap is not a fun task these days. He refuses to give in and it has turned into this more frequently then I'd like to admit.

Some more adventuring at Wheelers Farm. Such a cute, fun place to take the kids for FREE!

These lucky kids got visits from the leprauchans. I remembered at about 5:00 am and woke up in a panic. I even forgot to have them make a trap, but they did get green milk which they always enjoy. How do parents keep up with all of these holidays!

Super hero day at school. Not sure why she looks so scandalist, she just is cat women!! A very very last minute outfit. Tess had to dress up every day of spirit  week with Lexi. She is so excited for school.

A little visit from the other Allen clan to go see miss Kinley dance. She was adorable and we sure loved having a visit from them!

March 21, 2017
There is no way I haven’t written in my journal since last August. Wow, so much has happened and I know I will miss a lot but here it goes. The holiday season was amazing. Halloween was fun. We had yummy soup and rolls at a friends house and all went around the neighborhood together. We had a lot of fun but it didn’t last long.  Lexi went around for along time, but Tess, Bodee and Maverik had it after about 2 blocks which was fine by me because it was cold! November brought 2 new leg surgeries for me. It was painful, especially the second leg when they couldn’t make me looney, but I prevailed and I am all healed up now. Tess had her 5th birthday. I can’t believe how much she has grown this year. She acts like such a big girl now. She is smart and funny and independent. I love who she has grown up to be. She doesn’t care what others think and I love that about her. She is still so tiny! She had a birthday party with family at classic skating and she had so much fun. She loves that place and rocks at riding her scooter and is getting better at roller blading! She loves mermaids and got a mermaid cake which she liked very much. We were finally able to go to Thanksgiving on Jesses’ families side. We haven’t been in 10 years and it was much needed. They have a tradition of passing along part of this silly cake for someone who deserves it. Jesse got a piece of the cake since he has had a long, hard, year. It was a very touching Thanksgiving we sure missed Zack too who comes home in 2.5 months. There was shooting, eating, shooting, fishing, and probably some more shooting.  Bodee had a blast! We had a really fun Christmas in SLC. There was lots of snow and lots of sledding. Christmas Eve we went on the Polar Express train ride and the kids loved every second of it. My mom is a Rockstar for taking the whole family. The kids were so spoiled on Christmas Day. We were extremely blessed last year. In January Bodee turned 3. He is a vivacious, crazy, super funny, and extremely cuddly kid. He makes me laugh and yell on a continual daily basis. He is handsome and we love his so much! He had a Paw Patrol birthday party. He loves Paw Patrol and was so excited to have the family over to celebrate his special day! January/February came Jesse and I’s long awaited cruise to the eastern carribean. We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary and wanted to go somewhere that we could relax and have fun. We went with 3 other friend couples and did some pretty adventurous fun things. I sure love that sexy husband of mine.

Kid Updates

Maverik at 14 months old says night night and blows kisses, at 16 months says cow and moos. Knows where his head and eyes are. Loves to read. Says book or more like “baby”. Bodee is so sweet and always says “mommy your so pretty” and “I’m so super hungry”, “he also is always wanting to shoot something in the eyeball”. In October Lexi excels at tumbling and can do round off two back handsprings and an aerial.  Tess can do a backbend from standing up. In February 2017 Maverik says cereal. I walk in one morning to Lexi having all the kids cereal bowls out and asking who wants to say the morning prayer.
