Leprechauns Day Fun
We decided to go to Moab the first week that they cancelled school. Everyone was scavenging to get to the stores for toilet paper, weird I know so we went camping instead. It was AWESOME. Noone was there. The last day we were there they decided to put the state on pretty much lock down and made all the RV Parks, Stores, pretty much everywhere leave. It was like a ghost town which means we could go anywhere and everywhere with no traffic. We had a super fun time as a family, however it was a little tricky to start homeschool. We also missed SLC's 5.7 earthquake which we heard was pretty crazy and several aftershocks. It was nice to be away while the world was just starting to get crazy.
Jesse and I went on the slick rock trail which was pretty humorous. I may have cried of fright at times, not wanting to continue. My legs felt like jelly, and our water bottles tasted like dish soap. BUT... it was actually a blast when I got used to it. But I realized how horribly out of shape i am!
We stopped by a kid bike area. I was amazed how well they all did. They are fast and even Maverik at 4 years old was rocking it.
A little stop in Kingston on the way back home was a nice treat. We hadn't been there for months so it was fun to get to be with family. We didn't realized that we would be quarantined for now 6 weeks!
We hiked up to some fun caves in Kingston canyon. It started to snow while we were up there. We made a little fire and the kids thought it was a blast.
Maverik FINALLY learned to spell and write his name. Hopefully in preparation for school starting in the Fall. And lastly to end the month of March was an awesome bike crash by our poor Tess. She really got beat up. We went on a bike ride behind the house and the down hill portion she realized she didn't have any brakes. I'm sure she was terrified but she's a rockstar.
