April 2020

April 2020 conference was apparently supposed to be epic. To me, I was preparing for something out of this world to happen. There were all sorts of speculations and what ended up happening was a very good conference with amazing topics and beautiful, inspiring words. So was I a little let down, for sure, but it was one to remember. It was the first time ever that it was not attended by anyone other than the speakers. A world wide fast was presented for members of our faith and not of our faith for the Covid pandemic to end. The kids get more and more well behaved every year.
Jesse teaching the littles how to tie fly's. Not sure where he gets his energy to teach them these things at but I'm grateful he does.
Eggs are a scarsity in this pandemic. You are only allowed one package of eggs, IF there is any eggs. So we decided to do some wooden eggs. It ended up being a lot of fun and something we get to keep forever.
While Jesse has been off of work our goal is to finish off the backyard. We finished off the grueling paver RV pad. That was step one. We think it looks awefully good. My husband truly is a genious!
Easter weekend camping trip. While the rest of the world seemed to be in a panicked, chaotic state, counting Covid 19 cases on a daily basis, hording any food or supplies they could, not leaving their homes because we were in lock down, we snuck out at night with our camper and hit the road. As you can see from these pictures we were in complete succlusion and therefore didn't feel bad at all about it. It was nice to get out and clear our heads.
A little family time was just the ticket. This Maverik not afraid of a thing!
We did some razor riding. Hiking, biking, movie watching, food eating, game playing.

Jesse took the kids fishing and loved every minute of it. He said Tess was really into it. She surprises us every time.
The kids spent so much time down in there fort. They spent so much time cleaning and clearing it out. I was rather impressed.
I love Easter morning. Crisp air, and attempting to make trails without getting bitten by a snake or getting caught.
These pictures are proof that sometimes we stay home. Come Follow Me lessons with King Benjamin (Dad) and the last picture is a GREAT moment. The moment our last kid was FINALLY out of diapers at night. Yep, 6 years old. I kind of thought this day would never happen. We are so proud of the little nugget. A great April for sure.
