August begins with still a lot of unknowns in life. Jesse still isn't working. The kids are starting school again but wearing masks and only going Mondays and Wednesdays with homeschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. People are still thinking school will be cancelled and we will strictly home school again. I was so nervous for how the kids would do. They are doing amazing and it hasn't created a problem at all.
Off to school they go. 5th, 3rd, 1st and Kindergarten. So I am officially alone 2 days a week for 3 hours. HAHA so not a big deal but still kind of awesome. Maverik was excited for his first day and didn't even seem nervous.
Lexi has a locker. What! She had to try it many times to finally figure it out. LOL
We got to go to fit con with the Anderson family and it was actually incredibly fun. We had a great time watching jousters, going on water slides, parkour and lots of fun booths where the kids got to show off their muscles. They each did 10 pullups. The people couldn't believe how tuff they were.
We got to go the Kearns pool which was a blast. Lots of fun and a great end of summer activity. We haven't been able to swim much with everything closed this summer. The kids all got to start gymnastics at Flip It. We weren't going to have Bodee take it, since he's in soccer, but Maverik wouldn't go without him. They are ALL so dang good.
Little by little we are getting the backyard done. This is Jesse's latest creation. Gosh he's amazing!
A little trip to the Beaver Mountain. We found a lost baby bird. Picked him up and cuddled him, and killed him. Oops. I guess Jesse was right. Don't hold the baby birds.
Another trip to Kingston for the county fair. Maverik caught a fish and was pretty stocked.
Parades and kids games were just the ticket. Jesse and Tyler's corn hole winning streak came to a quick close when they decided to throw left handed and lost to some girls! HAHA I bet they won't be so cocky next year. Of coarse some fishing.
