January 2021

January was filled with some fun times.
Tyler and Amy's family have been able to visit a lot lately. We did some fun games one night. From drinking water out of a straw for as long as you could (sounds easier than it is) to who can get the cup off first. So much fun and Tess's "I'M GREAT AT THIS" saying came to play.
We went to the ice caves in Midway and then walked to the top of the hot caves. Their favorite and FREE part was sledding on our butts down the hill.
We finally got the tramp moved into the future theater room. It is such a fun room.
We took some fun friends to the hot springs with us where we snorkeled in the winter time. Jesse tricked me for days saying how cold it was up until I was about to jump in the water. He got Mike and Janiel in on the joke. They laughed hysterically when I finally figured it out.
Eagle Point Ski Resort. We made a fun weekend out of it. Stayed at a hotel and ate at the creamery. It was the boys first time and they did amazing. Bodee was passing me up by the end of the day. Maverik and me stayed most of the day on the bunny hill but he was doing awesome and loving it. We finally took him on the ski lift and down a blue trail. I didn't know it was possible to go as slow as he was going but he did it. Afterwards, his knees were hurting him so bad.
This little boy turned 7 this year. I can't believe it. He is a sensitive, talented, funny, hard working and dedicated boy. He worships his Dad but treats me pretty good too. He is a good friend and a good student. He can do over 35 push ups and is still awesome at soccer although his love for parkour is up there too. He can do a back handspring on the ground and back flips, ect on the tramp. He is a fun kid to be around. We sure love him.
His present wrapped in his old school papers. lol
We were able to go see Wonder Women in theaters during covid. It was awesome to have the theater to ourselves and to have a resemblance of "normal"
We also went on a winter hike up to bridal veil falls. It is awesome in the winter. I can't wait to do more winter hikes.
The family was making dream boards for our new years goals and I came across this sweet postcard that my Dad sent to me from Hawaii when I was 4 years old. I feel so blessed to have found this and be reminded of just how much my Dad loves me and how lucky I was to have such an amazing childhood and great parents.
