Tess is 10!!!!! Wow. How the time flies. I can't say enough about this beauty. She is getting bigger and more beautiful every day. She is humble and kind. She is obedient and always is trying to make me happy. She is creative and not lazy. She is talented and loves dance. She loves her friends and family and has such a contagious laugh. She thinks she is hilarious and always comes up with jokes. Her latest, that she says is a joke, is hold onto your hats. Its really not funny when you just say it, but her explanation is SO funny you'll pee your pants.
She had a huge friend group coming to do a paint day at the house. It was exhausting, but also a lot of fun. She has some really great friends!Jesse took me fishing on the Provo while the kids were at school. It was seriously so much fun. It was the first time I really felt like I did something decent while fishing. I love watching him in his element. And although I have no idea why he likes fishing THAT much, tha'ts one of the reasons I love him is his fun passions.
Turkey day this year was at Grandma Lamberts house and Kina made sure we turned it into a weekend event which included sleeping in the same house even though we have our own home 4 minutes down the road. It was very fun. We played games and ate a lot of food.
The 2nd birthday of the month is Jesse. This included putting up a large 6 person ice tent in our family room. It is huge and we are excited to give it a try.
Jesse took the boys fishing and Jesse was overwhelmed with joy about how much Maverik loved it. Bodee has always loved it but Maverik has never really showed and interest. Maverik did so well and didn't want to stop.
Lexi got a little shout out from her gym. She is such a hard worker and we can't wait for competition season to begin soon.
We had some serious scares and blessings in November. Bodee had some swollen lymph nodes in his neck. We researched it and they didn't appear normal for a regular sickness, which he wasn't sick at all. So, we called Jesse's cousin who is a dr. and they said it was probably nothing to worry about but with the location he needs to go to the dr. We took him in the next day and expected to be sent home. Instead the dr. ordered blood work. We got it done that day and had a grueling 24 hours to hear the results. Bad news again, the results didn't look amazing so she ordered an ultrasound. We went in 2 days later and AGAIN, not horrible results, but not goo either. The next step was a biospy. We didn't feel good about the biopsy because Bodee was so scared and he showed no other signs of cancer. We took labs 1 week later and his numbers had decreased by a lot and his lymph nodes had also gone down. The Dr's believe that he had mono but showed no symptoms. So, he ended up being ok, but the stress those couple of weeks was so real. I can't imagine those poor families that get bad results. My heart goes out to them and we are beyond grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who spared our son.
