Really I can't believe that this year is over. It is amazing how fast life goes after you finish high school. We have had a great year full of surprises and excitement. December has been amazing as usual. I love the holidays and have enjoyed spending time with the family. Jesse is still flying, but he works as a recruiter for his company 2 weeks out of the month. He is enjoying it so far, and it is really fun to have him home so much. We were able to go to the Christmas parade in Senoia with our awesome neighbors, Fantasy in Lights with some more awesome friends, and enjoy eating yummy treats and getting fat!! The kids loved Christmas time this year. It was so fun having to little girls to sing Christmas songs with and to share the true meaning of Christmas with. We had a horse Christmas. Truly, you would think we had all boys, but that is all they wanted. They got some fun, cute gifts. One of their favorites was a barn that Jesse and I made for them. They have played with it constantly ever since! We ended up the year with our sweet little Lexi turning 4. I really can't believe how fast it has gone and how lucky we are to have her in our lives. Lexi has taken us by surprise as to who she is. She was a brutle baby and we expected for her to be hard her whole life. Although she is hard, like any kid, she is the most tender hearted little girl. She is sweet to everyone and laughs at everything. Some of the most annoying, but sweet moments are when she cries at throwing anything away. Tears for her toothpaste and how much she will miss it and tears for the broken balloon in which she has 100 others to replace it! We are so grateful for all that we have had this year and the blessings that we probably don't deserve. We can hardly wait for our cute little family to expand and expect to see little Bode in 2 weeks.
