August 2017

These cute kiddos did a pretty difficult hike to cecret lake. It was really cold, but a beautiful hike. We had a lot of fun.
We were supposed to go to Flaming Gorge this weekend and we weren't able to go due to Jesse's job interview (which got cancelled anyways), so we had an outdoor sleepover until about 12 AM when it started to rain. We had a really good time while it lasted.
We took the kids to the Natural History Museum downtown. It was huge and very cool, but with little kids we didn't learn much! It was still fun!
This handsome man of mine took these cute boys camping while I took the girls on a getaway to St. George. We had SO much fun.
While the boys are away, the girls will play!
They were so exited to go on a plane. Even the bus ride they made exciting.
We made a surprise trip to Tuacahn for Mamma Mia. My kids have been obsessed with it ever since and listen to the music constantly. I'm loving it!
A little Classic Skating bounce house time.
These cute little cousins had fun at their sleepover hiding and devouring many snacks! They HAD to sleep by eachother!

Waiting at brain balance this summer became a little bit of a chore. Thank goodness for my mom who came to babysit often.
This little second grader was excited/nervous to go to school today. She has worked hard this summer and we pray she will do well in school this year. She had many previous friends in her class and that made her pretty happy. This year she wants to be a dr. her favorite color is hot pink and she doesn't have a favorite movie. Her teacher is Mrs. Olsen.
This darling little kindergartner is a breath of fresh air and a surprise around every corner. At her kindergarten assessment her teacher Mrs. Guiness asked if she was like Lexi. I said no but I'm not really sure what she will be like. She could be good or bad I'm not really sure what she will do. She was SO excited to start school and has been counting down the days. She looks so grown up!
Tess wants to be EVERYTHING this year. Her favorite color is all of them and her favorite movie is trolls, moana, sing, and smurfs 1,2 and 3. She has a hard time making decisions obviously! i will miss both of these beautiful girls while they are at school.
Now school is on and routine is back around, but i'll still try to update since we try to enjoy every day of our crazy life!

Another pretty cool thing happened on Lexi's first day of school was we had a full eclipse that day. She got to see it at school while the rest of it viewed it at my moms house with some glasses. It was really cool. It didn't get totally dark but it was noticeably darker and it looked so different than I imagined.
