August 2021

Yes this is a large group. Now imagine trying to keep all these people together on shuttles, rides, food, ect. Now add what felt like 120 degrees with serious sweat in all areas on our bodies. Well that was the difficult part. Everything else was so much fun! 4 days at Disneyworld. Definitely not our thing but it was fun taking the kids and experiencing what Disney has to offer.
This is a really expensive restaurant that my family made us go to and pay for. Our smiles would have been bigger if I wasn't such a cheap sake.
This airboat ride was on the way to the airport to go home. Tess and Maveriks faces. HAHA Tess doesn't do heat or cold!
Who can say they've broken down on an airboat ride in the middle of a swamp with alligators lurking nearby? We can!
The rescue left us seeing not many alligators and almost late to get to the airport.
The kids waiting for their food at Wild Florida.
We saw some great shows!
We took Lexi to Sanford to see her first home. It was so incredibly rainy.
This car was at the hospital behind the apartments.
We snuck to the beach near St. Augustine and that was the kids trip highlight. We had a storm happen right around us. Lighting popping everywhere. Lexi was terrified. It was scary but also pretty gorgeous.
                                                   They really rocked boogie boarding.
We were supposed to go on a cruise for 3 days and it got cancelled. So, we had the idea to take the kids up to Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. I love it there and thought they would. Well they didn't quite so much. Jesse was right. I hate it when he's right. We met up with Marilyn and Jim Bennett and there cute family. Jesse went to flight school with him and we've been long distance friends ever since. There kids Georgia accents are to die for! Our kids enjoyed getting together.
We visited this gorgeous plantation.

Jesse and I loved this super old cemetery, the kids not so much!
One of our favorite places to visit in St. Augustine.
Back to Disney and her strange love for Paris.
We didn't see many characters because of Covid so it was fun when we did get to see them.
We got to try Macaroons which Lexi was dying to try. Not that impressed.
Our ancestors!
One thing Disney got right is there fireworks. They are pretty spactacular.
The kids loved the rides and the pineapple icecream.
Finding creative ways to stay cooler.
The tiki room was fun for Maverik and Aria. At least they liked it!
Jesse making fun of Charlotte just a little. I hope she can laugh about this one day!
Tess was just a little scared to go on rock and rollarcoaster. The only semi scary ride in all of Disney.
We stayed at an amazing resort called Shades of Green. It was  beautiful and we had a little alligator friend who liked to hang out in the water while we ate.
The kids couldn't wait to start their vacation together. My mom is a pure gem to give us this vacation. It was a blast. Can't wait for our next adventure.
Its official. All my kids are in school full time. I'm not sure whether to celebrate or cry. I will miss them. They are starting school at Blackridge Elementary. Our first time at a public school. They are going to have a fantastic school year. I can feel it! Little Tess mess is in 4th grade this year with Ms. Elliot.
I might be biased but they are so dang CUTE
Bodee is in 2nd grade with Ms. Anderson
=
Maverik is in 1st grade in Ms. Holgates class.
Lexi is in 6th grade with Mr. Davenport. She was way disappointed that she got a boy teacher but oh has she changed her mind. She is his favorite!

While the kids are away Jesse and I will play. AND get fat!
Maverik started climbing classes and has done incredible. His monkey abilities and flexibility are a huge asset to him. He outclimbs kids a few years older than him.
This little nugget got stage one of braces. He had an extra tooth and they had to pull his permanent tooth and start phase 1 of braces. He was pretty excited. He doesn't quite get the concept of time though and kept asking if he'll get them off before Kauai, Halloween, Christmas. HAHA
Lexi is killing it at gym and making some good friends along the way. She is so talented and such a good athlete. For real she's incredible. Can't wait to see what she accomplishes this year.
