January 2022

I'm not entirely sure how a year has gone by and we are on to a new one. But lo and behold here we are! This beauty is only 11 in these pictures but she does in fact look 16. She is so photogenic and beautiful. I love how her gym pictures ended up.

Maverik had his first competition this month. The week before his competition they had a mock comp and Maverik coach caught me after his class and showed me his scores. He wanted to move him from the beginner level to intermediate level. He ended up in 2nd place. Competing against 10-12 year olds. He completed some hard climbs, did 14 push ups, did 44 sit ups, and held for 2 minutes on the bar. We are unbelievably impressed with his strength and abilities. People couldn't believe that this little 6 year old was crushing it. He also won a chalk bag and the silver nugget!
In just one day we had 2 competitions and this little beauties was next. This was her 2nd competition and she did INCREDIBLE. She got 2nd all around at 37.65. 9.45 on vault (1st), 9.4 on bars (2nd), 9.35 on beam (3rd), and 9.45 on floor (3rd).
Cute Tess had some of her fun dance friends over. I love the cute friends she has.
For Bodee's birthday he didn't want to do a friend birthday so instead we too the family to Ifly and the flowrider. What a fun day. We got to rock climbing. They had some super fun routes and one lady said the best part of her day was watching our fearless kids climbing the wall. Then we got to go on the flowrider which was an absolute blast.

We paid extra to go higher on the ifly and it was so much fun. I thought the kids would be scared but they all rocked it.
Happy 8th Birthday Bodee. What a good looking little boy. Bodee can either have you want to squeeze the crap out of him because he is so cute or throw him in a closet and lock the door (not really)! He is so strong willed and has to have the last word. But he is also a charmer. He says such sweet things when he wants to. He loves sports and is amazing at them. He is a pro at Halo and can beat just about anyone. He likes morning time and is almost always the first one awake. He is funny and tough as nails. He never complains when he is tired, hungry or hurt. He is a great brother and we sure love him.
He got some really nice binoculars for his birthday. He loves hunting and fishing very, very much.
On Bodee's birthday he was able to go to climbing class with his buddy Dax and Maverik was able to take his buddy Metz.
Jesse had a once in a lifetime buffalo hunt this year. He hiked over 60 miles and never saw a buffalo. He even had a friend take him out in his airplane to survey the land and never saw a thing. I feel so bad for him that he went through all that work and never even got to see one. I'm trying to get my hunter safety so he can use me for some one in a lifetime tags.
This was Lexi's first competition. She was so incredibly nervous that the beam would actually shake. Lol. But she held it together and came out victorious. We realized just how much we don't know about the sport. Everything looks flawless to us, but then she'd come up with some low scores and we'd be so mad but, as always, we couldn't be more proud of her. She got 4th place all around, 9.15 on beam, 8.95 on floor, 9.45 vault (1st) and 9.1 on bars. This was her pass off meet to pass off silver to go compete gold. She passed with flying colors but she ultimately decided to stay competing silver instead of moving up so that she could potentially win state or regionals. Then, next year she can pass off gold and compete diamond!
We took pictures for Bodee's baptism and it was a lot of fun. It was cold but Bodee was a trooper and smiled nice and big for me.
Lexi got braces! She was so excited until the pain kicked in and she realized it wasn't so much fun! 1.5 years to go!
Lexi had a friend birthday party this year at the mall. Each girl got $20 to spend. We did a scavenger hunt and hunted boys. It was pretty fun hanging with all these cute girls.
The Stewarts let us borrow there VR for a week. The kids had a lot of fun with it.
